The Miller Series...
Miller came to life after my daughter rescued a young, abandoned raven. She brought the baby raven home, called him Miller and began the process of rehabilitating him. He needed feeding and also needed antibiotics for a damaged wing. She fed him and built a stand for him to perch on. He quite enjoyed living with the chickens, dogs and cats.
She had him for a couple months during the summer. He was never caged or tied so he was free to go. One day during the summer after he learned to fly, he joined some neighbourhood ravens for a a squawk. The visits became more regular and soon he ended up leaving "the nest" with my daughter and moved to living in the trees with his new friends.
