Yvonne Acheson

Yvonne Acheson creates scenes of Vancouver Island life that are bright and bold and happy. She paints a life that is inspired by the joy she feels living on the east coast of Vancouver Island.

As the wife of an avid surfer and board-shaper (Ark Surfboards), and the mother of two very busy boys, Yvonne’s images reflect the joy of the natural world around her.

My inspiration comes mostly from my love of the ocean, its amazing beaches and coastlines, and the rest of God’s amazing creation here on the island.

I like to work with bright acrylic colors that express the beauty of nature in a way that will bring joy to those who see it.
