Terri Bowen
Teacher, handwriting analyst, photographer, writer and illustrator are some of the titles that Terri wears in her very artistic world.
In her 30+ years of teaching in Calgary, Terri facilitated school divisions, individual schools
and her writing clubs to publish dozens of illustrated student writing anthologies of
poetry and short stories. Terri describes herself as primarily a painter and jewelry designer, but somehow she found time to write and illustrate Lighthouse Country Alphabet, a beautiful tribute to her new home on Vancouver Island.
You can see one of Terri’s murals at Munchkinland in Qualicum Beach, called West Coast Forest. Her passion is to travel the world to see famous galleries and museums, and she also finds there is never a dull moment right here on Vancouver Island!
