"Every fall Grizzly Bears gather along the rivers of Canada's West Coast to feed on the returning salmon runs. These spawning salmon provide the nourishment these large, powerful creatures and their families require to survive until spring. Thanks to the people of the Klahoose, Homalco and Heiltsuk First Nation I have had the privilege of witnessing such a glorious, abundant feast. With dedication and the continued stewardship efforts of our indigenous people the Grizzlies will continue to thrive for many years to come as they have since time immemorial."
