Nose Kiss Candles : Hudson Smith

I create my product with a passionate and attentive hand, crafting each candle as if it were a gift for a best friend. 

Hudson Smith's creative influences are the landscape of Vancouver Island. Her branding and packaging is largely inspired by the many of the coastal beaches. She uses the colour pallet of a walk amongst driftwood to set the tone of her brand. 

I’ve always been a firm believer in purchasing products that are made with sustainability in mind. I noticed that there was a demand for thoughtfully made candles and I wanted to put my own creative spin on what that would look like. I suppose my own love for candles also led to the creation of a business. 

I’m always surprised by the unlimited number of fragrances you can create by blending scents together. The first fragrance blend I created in the early stages of my business was “Grapefruit & Bergamot” and I was amazed and delighted by how well the two complimented each other.
