Lisa and Gord are the Dynamic Duo of Reinvention behind G&L’s Fabulously Funky Creations.

Their work is a one project at a time process and is always evolving. They have found their niche along with their passion in the art of upcycling.

Repurposing old items, breathing new life into them, creating vibrant, unique and interesting pieces while feeling positive about saving these items from a date with the landfill site.

Where others see old and useless, we see potential for change and creative reinvention. My West Coast Fingerless Gloves are a big part of that change.

These fun and functional gloves are created using sweaters purchased at the local Thrift Shops. They are then deconstructed and reconstructed into new wearable works of art. Lisa incorporates a Signature Panel of new fabric into each pair of gloves representing the elements of magic and beauty that are unique to Vancouver Island.
