Deborah Freeman

Deborah is a wildlife/nature photographer, mostly in the roll of observer.

I am fascinated by the interactions of flora and fauna and try to share these most beautiful aspects of our world. I have written observations most of my life and "Song of the Sparrow" consists of vignettes and photography of our adventures on Vancouver Island. Hoping to encourage others to engage in nature by "seeing" , the small things that can create intimacy with the world around us.

Nettles and More... provides information on the Herbal and Flower Essence use of local plants. Again encouraging the reader to understand that they may be looking at a plant that can have value to all of us once they learn how to identify it.

I am a Certified Flower Essence practitioner and learned about the world of plants from native healers and other practitioners.
