Chris Karch

Born on Vancouver Island Chris travelled and experienced many places in this world, often working with wood along the way.  A carpenter by trade he has always enjoyed merging creativity and problem-solving in his work. 

After moving to the country, Chris was inspired by the design and patterns of the rounds in the woodshed.  What started off as experimenting with epoxy and wood for Christmas presents in 2022 quickly lead his creative juices into a hobby.  Chris uses a mix of wood from dead or fallen trees from his property and driftwood from local beaches to create his pieces mixed with epoxy.  Each round is like a fingerprint, creating unique pieces that can be enjoyed for their many natural details.
