Carol Harris

I crave calmness and feeling connected to peaceful energy.  I appreciate and am grateful for the kindness of others.  I am stunned by the incredible beauty and diversity of our planet and believe in a love and intelligence that is the source of everything and is the true Master Artist.  

For her entire life, Carol has had a strong desire to create and make, interested in all types of craft and dabbling in many. Once she got started with clay, ceramics became her main focus, and a bit of an obsession, she says. The possibilities with clay are endless, like diving down the "Rabbit Hole". I also love the permanence of the medium.  
 

My work is born of my love of design, pattern and decoration. It has been described as whimsically elegant, bursting with joy, and "like something you would find in a fairy forest".  I work with care and attention to detail, desiring to make special pieces that will be treasured for years to come.  

What surprises me most about my work is that I am able to do it. It feels like a gift, coming through me, not from me.

I am in love with the peaceful joy that I receive through the creative process, and that's what I try to share.
