Bulle De France

Bulle De France by France Roy ... is a collection of colourful and textured acrylic blob or dot
paintings.

Each layer of circles is done separately and requires many days of drying time before a next
layer is added. When all the bubbles (bulles) are completed and dried, the painting is covered with a layer of resin, giving it its shiny appearance and everlasting quality. 

The name Bulle De France has two meanings ... its English translation is France's Bubble, which refers to the time France started her artistic endeavor, confined like everyone else during the pandemic, in her bubble (bulle). The name also refers to the shape of the blobs and dots being in their own kind of bubbles (bulles). France is a Nanoose Bay artist and has been joyfully painting since 2020.
