Brooke Emily Higginbotham

Brooke is a Vancouver Island-based artist who draws on the rugged West Coast as an ever-evolving source of inspiration. Often working with a variety of mediums, from oils to inks to cold wax, she aims to give her works an undeniable sense of presence.

With a BFA in Visual Art + Design and a concentration in Creative Writing, Brooke loves the collaboration of illustration and text and has an active interest in kid-lit. This interest inspired the project, Tuesdays and Seaweed, her first picture book.
