Andrew Kent : The Willow Way

I make all pieces by hand, using locally sourced materials, with an attention to detail.

Andrew creates comfortable and functional rustic furniture from local willow and alder shoots and whips, with the heart of an artisan. 

His handcrafted repertoire includes: club chairs, dining chairs. love seats and slate top tables with willow legs, outdoor benches, living willow fences, structures, as well as wreaths, coat racks, hanging shelves and baskets.

I teach workshops, mostly in the spring and fall. I spend as much time as I can in the forest, on my bike, or in my garden.

My customers appreciate handcrafted items, created with a minimal impact on our Planet, using readily available and renewable materials, and the effort it takes to create such items.
