Artist's notes: Driftwood treasures from many Vancouver Island beaches. These are very old pieces of driftwood, burnished (polished) only in "the old way", with other woods and stones. The beautiful sea glass, also called Mermaid Tears, is created by endless winds and waves upon rocky and sandy shorelines.
