Nathalie and Tim are easy going Islanders just trying to live a simple life, while maintaining a good sense of humour and enjoying every day.
We've been planning this for years. We knew we wanted to be on the Island, most likely in Qualicum Beach and we knew we wanted to own our own business. In 2018 we decided that we would make mustard! Since 80 to 90% of the world's mustard seed is grown in Canada, why not make delicious Canadian mustard? Once we secured a proper space, everything else started falling into place.
Nathalie and Tim create their mustards in small batches using Canadian mustard seeds, carefully grinding and blending the spices themselves, without any additives or preservatives.
We are happily influenced by our surroundings and people that we meet. Being close to nature, and if possible, near the ocean is also a big part of our lives. In business we are very inspired by our customers whose enthusiasm drives us to be better.
We are constantly refining and improving our craft. The best surprise is when a customer tells us a new and unique way to use our mustard like the addition of our Creole mustard in a Bloody Caesar cocktail!
