Canadian contemporary painter, Jane Dow rose to the forefront in the Whistler B.C. ski resort painting scene in 2013.
Her technique of layering and using a palette knife sometimes places a larger than normal amount of paint on the canvas. This translates into a dimensional painting with unique shadowing effects.
Jane started with birds, bears and boats then a body of work with neon producing landscapes of personal experiences. All Canadian themed.
Jane has studied with the best of British Columbia's artists. She currently has a large studio in Whistler BC and the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia Canada, where she is a busy and sought-after artist.
